If you want to present your information differently then why not putting it in a table. Go to the Insert tab and select table. Once there, select insert table and enter how many rows and columns you want your table to have.
If you want to make your slideshows more visual, then why not insert some 3D Models. Microsoft provide a wide range of models that you can insert into your slides.
To insert a 3D Model, go to the Insert tab and select the 3D Models icon. This will open the Online 3D Models window. In the search bar, type a description of what you are looking for and press enter. Once you have found the 3D model that you want, select it and click Insert. This will now insert the 3D Model into your slide.
If you want to add shapes such as arrows and speech bubbles, then follow these steps. Firstly, go to the Insert tab and select Shapes. Choose a shape from the dropdown, then left click and drag your mouse on the slide you want the shape inserting.
If you want your shape to stay in proportion then why not try holding down the Shift key as you draw the shape.
When you open PowerPoint, you will be faced with a variety of design templates. Have a scroll through and find the best template for your presentation.
If you want to move text to another location, for example a new slide, use the Cut tool. It’s easy to use, just select the text or object you want to move then go to the Home tab > Clipboard and select Cut, then click where you want the text or object to be placed and then go to Home tab > Clipboard and select Paste.
If you’re a fan of shortcuts, use CTRL + X to cut and CTRL + V to paste.
In PowerPoint you can apply animations to the content of your slides to make your slideshow more interesting. To do so, select the text that you want to apply an animation to and then go to the Animations tab. Once there, select an animation from the ribbon. It will also give you a preview to show you what it will look like when you come to play your presentation.
If you want to apply the date onto a slide, go to the insert tab and select Date and Time. Then choose the date format you want to apply.
If you want to distinguish text then why not format it to Italic.
To do this, select the text you want to make italic, then on the Home tab select the Italic icon.
You can also use the shortcut CTRL + I to make text italic.
If you want to make text more exciting then why not use WordArt. Click on the Insert tab and select WordArt, then choose the style that you want. Once you’ve chosen a style, type in the text that you want to be on your slide.
If you want a string of text to stand out from the text around it then how about making the text Bold.
To do this, select the text you want to make bold, then on the Home tab select the Bold icon.
You can also use the shortcut CTRL + B to make text bold.
If you want to emphasise an important word or phrase in your presentation then you can use the highlighter tool to achieve this.
Select the text you want to highlight and click on the highlighter tool. In the dropdown select the highlighter colour you want.
