How to change the font colour?

How to change font types?


To change the way your text looks how about changing the font. Select your text and go to the Font dropdown located on the Home tab. Then choose the font type you want to use.

How to customise bullet points?


In PowerPoint you can customise bullet points to various icons. To do this, select your bullet points and select the Bullets dropdown. Next click on Bullets and Numbering and select Customise. Finally choose the icon you want to use and then click OK and then OK again. Your bullet points will now have changed.

How to copy formatting?


If you want to copy a texts formatting and apply it to another string of text, then how about using the Format Painter tool. 

To use this tool, select the text you want to copy the formatting from and then click on the Format Painter tool. With the paint brush cursor, select the text you want to apply the formatting to.

How to make text bold in PowerPoint?


If you want a string of text to stand out from the text around it then how about making the text Bold.

To do this, select the text you want to make bold, then on the Home tab select the Bold icon.

How to put a line through text?


If you’re unsure about some text in a presentation, instead of deleting the text, how about putting a line through it.

To do this, select the text you are unsure about and click on the Strikethrough tool on the Home tab. This will then place a line through the selected text. This means if you do want to keep the text, you can remove the strikethrough line.

How to increase and decrease text space?


If you want to reduce or increase the amount of space your text on a slide takes up, then why not try the Character Spacing tool. You can then adjust your text to suite you. 

To use the Character Spacing tool, select your text and then click on the Character Spacing tool. This will provide you with a dropdown where you can select the best spacing option for you.
